Post-extraction implant placement: When immediate, when early and when late
Implants can be placed at the time of extraction (immediate), early in the healing phase (early) or after substantial healing (late) of the alveolar ridge. In aesthetically critical areas, the selection of the time for implant placement can influence outcomes. This lecture will outline the principles for case selection to ensure predictable outcomes.
