Prof. Andrija Petar Bošnjak DDM, MSc, PhD
Andrija Petar Bošnjak worked at the School of Dental Medicine University of Zagreb for 10 years, where he graduated and got his MSc and PhD. He authored more than 100 publications, 29 of them with highest indexation. Since the beginning of his academic carrier he is involved in continuous education of professionals in dental medicine, primarily through practical courses in the fields of oral hygiene, periodontal surgery and implant dentistry. He mentored more than 30 graduation theses, master theses and PhDs. He is a regular reviewer in a number of professional and scientific journals, and he is involved in the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), both as a reviewer and a researcher.
From 2007 until 2022 he owned a private practice limited to periodontology and implant dentistry, and he currently teaches periodontology and the School of Dental Medicine University of Rijeka and School of Medicine University of Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He is also a staff member at the Postgraduate doctoral studies at the School of Dental Medicine University of Zagreb (Croatia). He is fluent in five languages. Since 2022 he is the Deputy Director of the Arena Dental Polyclinic and Chief Medical Officer of the Adria Dental Group that includes the biggest dental clinics in the Adria region.
Development and spread of the knowledge among colleagues are the most important parts of his professional life. Mastering clinical challenges and learning through them are the most difficult, yet most important parts of dental medicine. It is exactly where he feels at his best.
